Kim Kardashian Insists Her Kids WON'T Grow Up To Be Rich Brats: 'They're Really Good People'

Kim Kardashian talks raising kids

Kim Kardashian West *swears* she isn’t raising her kids to be entitled brats!

While visiting Australia to film an Uber Eats commercial, the KUWTK star sat down with Lisa Wiklinson for Australian outlet The Sunday Project and opened up about motherhood.

Kim’s been spending her time lately juggling her makeup empire, her shape-wear line, and reforming America’s prisons, but raising her four children with husband Kanye West is evidently still her top priority. The 39-year-old mogul told the journalist that parenting is a topic she researches “more than anything else, from reading tons of books to having conversations with a lot of people.”

As the superstar’s children — daughters Chicago, 1, and North, 6; plus sons Psalm, 7 months, and Saint, 4 — continue to grow, Kim says keeping them grounded is crucial, noting:

“No matter what you’re given and no matter what you have, you have to treat people with respect.”

As for how she’s making sure that her kiddos don’t turn out spoiled from their Kardashian-West privilege, the star said:

“I do the best I can, and I really do believe my children are well adjusted and know they are blessed, but understand to be really compassionate. They’re really good people, and that is my No. 1 goal in life.”

The future lawyer also opened up more about the recent makeup ban Kanye imposed on Nori, musing:

“I don’t think a kid should really be wearing makeup, either. I think sometimes if you don’t understand a rule, it’s good to learn and ask your friends — and in my case, my siblings — what they would do, bounce ideas around and develop a way we’re gonna parent and rules we have.”

And while Kim and Kanye may disagree from time to time, she said they “always have to stay aligned.”

The KKW Beauty mogul was then asked whether she felt “some sympathy” for fellow headline makers Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who have been voicing their frustrations over the intense media scrutiny they’ve been facing for years.

Kim gave a diplomatic response, explaining:

“I think everyone has their own journey. I think their journey is extremely personal, with — you know, what his mother [Princess Diana] experienced and how her life was so affected by the spotlight and by paparazzi… I don’t think anyone can really understand what that’s like except for them. But I think as I’m older and as I have kids, what I would want for them is just the safest place. I can definitely empathize with their need for having a secure, safe place and taking time for themselves and having privacy when they need it.”

Wise words from a wise woman! Ch-ch-check out the rest of her interview (below).
