Another day, another photo shoot for Kim Kardashian!
V magazine is serving up the reality star on a black platter for their latest issue looking very high fashion.
Dressed in, you guessed it, all black ensembles, Kim made love to Nick Knight‘s camera and opened up about her growing fashion empire to Kanye West.
Here are some highlights:
On going from D-A-S-H to mass market:
“I think that some people think we opened our store, D-A-S-H, on the show, but when we got the show offer we were thinking of it as a way to promote our store. Styling and fashion have always been my number one job, or obviously my first passion. Our goal had always been to promote the store by doing the show, and then we realized our dream life would be to have our own clothing line. Never in a million years did we think that we could go way more mass with it and have a Kardashian collection at Sears and a QVC clothing line. We weren├óΓé¼Γäót even thinking that big.”
On Kanye West influencing her style:
“Obviously having a stylish boyfriend who has helped introduce me to things and opened up my vision has been an inspiration and has helped me change it up a little bit and become more sophisticated. Being with him, designing and doing things, that├óΓé¼Γäós been motivating to me and has taught me a lot. I├óΓé¼Γäóm just thankful.”
Well, we’re not sure if wearing $6,000 Giuseppe Zanotti for Kanye West shoes or throwing out a closet full of perfectly good clothing is something to be thankful for, but whatever floats Kim’s boat is fine with us!
