We mentioned earlier that Jenny Craig spokeswoman Valerie Bertinelli has reached out to former spokeswhore Kirstie Alley to help her get back to a healthy weight.
Well, she’s taken it a step further now: Bertinelli wants to be Alley’s mentor!
That’s kind of a slap in the face since Kirstie was Valerie’s mentor once upon a time.
How the tables have turned!
Valerie told ABC’s Nightline: “I’ll hold her hand. Oh, I would just – I’m telling you – I think it would be the greatest thing. There’s so many people that come up to me wherever I am, and they say I was on the program a couple of years ago, and then I stopped, and then I see that you’ve had success, so I’m coming back. It’s not a bad thing to stop something and come back to it. You’re not a failure. You’re never a failure. As long as you keep getting back up.”
Hear that Kirstie? You’re not a failure. Fat, but not a failure. Unless you stay fat- then you are failure! We kid. We kid.
