Jailed boy band founder and fraudster Lou Pearlman has done some ‘good’ while in jail.
Over the course of three weeks, Pearlman spied on the conversations of a fellow inmate, a man accused of killing a cop, and took notes on the cop killers ‘confessions’ in jail at the instructions of his lawyers.
Pearlman then turned in his notes and diagrams to investigators.
Pervy “provided a statement to law enforcement that was useful in the Sheriff’s Office investigation of our case,” said state prosecutor Robin Wilkinson. Pearlman has been listed as a potential witness in the trial.
No shock. Pearlman didn’t go through all that trouble out of the goodness of his heart and his dedication to justice.
Pearlman’s lawyer said when he seeks a federal sentence reduction for Pearlman in the future, he will tell the judge about Pearlman’s “very valuable and relevant” help in the cop killer murder investigation.
But, don’t inmates hate snitches?
Pearlman must have made nice with guys who’ll protect him in lock up before showing himself to be a rat.
He better cover his hole cement!
