These days, KStew has a lot going in her life: press tours, photo shoots, and, oh yeah, the fall out of her high publicized affair with her married director. You probably heard about it somewhere. Seems the life of this particular starlet could veer off in Crazy Town at any given moment, should she let herself get steered off course. But she doesn’t. Know why?
Cuz a bundle of indie movies came her way during her Twilight time. And they saved her from a world of mainstream madness!! (Because being part of the mainstream — that was the problem all along!)
She said in a recent Glamour Germany interview:
“Thank God, I had the opportunity to do smaller movies like The Runaways, Welcome to the Rileys, and On the Road in between. Otherwise I’d probably have turned mad.”
“You can’t let this whole circus irritate you. I will always have good memories about Twilight, and I had no clue what would happen when the first movie came into the theatres.”
“I took the role because I love movies. Of course movies are just entertainment, but to many people particular films mean so much more. I’m one of these people.”
“Movies can tell you something about life, they can help you understand it better, they can wake your interest, or be the reason why you question certain things. They can be f***ing important.”
Oh, gurl! We know! And the Twihards know too!!!
But yes… life is all about that beautiful balance. And we’re so glad you got yours!!
