Kyle Richards is defending her sister!
In case you didn’t hear, Kathy Hilton was scheduled to be the grand marshal for the West Hollywood Pride Parade. But when it was announced, social media slammed the decision, citing Kathy and her husband Rick Hilton‘s association with Donald Trump. Needless to say, a LOT of people weren’t happy that Kathy was chosen, given her ties to the current administration!
Because of the backlash, Kathy decided to step down and no longer be the grand marshal — but her sister Kyle wants everyone to know that Kathy isn’t the person that they think she is. On her Instagram Stories over the weekend, she wrote:
“My sister Kathy has always been a supporter of the LGBTQIA+ community and will continue to be. As far as ‘MAGA ties’, just because you are acquainted with or associated with or associated with someone in the past or present, does not mean you share their political views.”
She has a point! Remember when Kathy got matching tattoos with Kyle and her then-gal pal Morgan Wade??

She added:
“The WeHo Pride Parade is a happy celebratory day. I respect my sister’s decision for not wanting to be a distraction on a day that belongs to the LGBTQIA+ community. Happy Pride!”
