The secondhand embarrassment is real with this one!
Kylie Jenner was so excited to see Demi Moore during the Golden Globes on Sunday night, but the feeling did not appear to be mutual. Oof!
The official Golden Globes TikTok account caught a behind-the-scenes clip of The Substance star, who won Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy, enthusiastically approaching Elle Fanning at her table. Elle sat right next to The Kardashians star, who was there to support her boyfriend Timothée Chalamet.

In the clip, Demi could be seen giving Elle a big hug. Kylie then turned around and yelled, “Congrats!” Demi was so invested in her chat with Elle that she hardly paused to acknowledge the model (though she did turn her head toward Kylie briefly so she wasn’t completely ignored). As Demi continued to focus all her attention on Elle, Kylie got visibly irritated, her smile VANISHED, and she turned back toward Timmy. Yeesh!
To make matters worse, Demi then breezed right past Kylie and went straight in for a greeting with the Dune star, who shared his congratulations with the actress as she held his hand. Even when speaking to the actor, Demi couldn’t be bothered to send some love Kylie’s way. Awkward!!! Check it out (below):

A snub like this would always hurt, but to make matters worse, this comes just months after Kylie channeled Demi in Striptease for Halloween. So, she’s clearly a big fan! At the time, Demi “liked” and re-posted the reality star’s post twice on Instagram, but that same love wasn’t exactly reciprocated during the award show.
Reacting to the diss, fans wrote on X (Twitter):
“Kylie TRIED to get included there bahahahaha Demi was like ‘NOPE’
”
“I’m not Kylies biggest fan but that was so messed up”
“Kylie is so out of place”
“Tbh that’s rude as hell say hi even if you don’t like her”
“I feel so bad for Kylie everyone there seems like they have zero interest in having a conversation with her lol”
Some people, however, defended the Charlie’s Angels alum, adding:
“I mean these are actors talking to actors about their triumphs in acting. Kylie isn’t part of that at all. In this setting she’s literally someone’s influencer girlfriend. They don’t know her”
“demi replied to kylie when she said congrats tho, stop with these baseless narratives”
“People saying ‘poor Kylie’ for not being acknowledged, it’s not her night nor about her. She’s not an actress or anyone of importance in this setting”
“Demi Moore literally won a Golden Globe for a movie that is against everything Kylie Jenner embodies. So, yes, she rightfully ignored her.”
