Another lawsuit has landed on Kylie Jenner‘s doorstep, and the allegations, if true, are incredibly heartbreaking.
According to a new lawsuit filed on Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court and first reported this week by the Los Angeles Times, a chef who formerly worked for Jenner claims the working conditions she experienced while employed by the reality star and business mogul were so physically demanding that they contributed to the loss of her pregnancy.
That’s right — Kylie is facing even MORE legal controversies. It’s been quite a last few months for the mogul…
The woman, whose identity has not been publicly disclosed, says she began working as Jenner’s private chef in November 2024. Court filings allege that by the following month, she had informed her supervisors that she was three months pregnant and needed reasonable accommodations because her pregnancy was considered high-risk.

Despite that, the lawsuit claims she continued working grueling 11- to 12-hour shifts five days a week while performing physically strenuous tasks.
One of the most alarming allegations centers on New Year’s Eve 2024. According to the complaint, the chef was instructed to:
“…lift and transport heavy food items across the street and uphill without assistance.”
The lawsuit claims the work quickly took a physical toll. According to the filing:
“…[the chef] became dizzy, began choking and gasping for air, and required assistance from security personnel, who intervened by providing water and aid.”
Yikes…
The complaint also describes another difficult assignment during a birthday celebration for one of Jenner’s children in Palm Springs around February 1. The chef alleges she was expected to handle the event without enough support and says her requests for additional help were ignored by her managers.
The lawsuit states:
“Due to exhaustion and overwhelming physical strain, [she] broke down emotionally in the bathroom during the event. That evening, [she] experienced extreme physical exhaustion and heaviness throughout her body as a result of the prolonged and intense workload.”
According to the filing, the following morning her condition became dramatically worse. She allegedly suffered severe bleeding and went to a nearby hospital, where she says she was:
“…informed that there was no detectable heartbeat and that she had lost her unborn child.”
Oh, no.
The lawsuit goes on to claim that only days after notifying her supervisors about the miscarriage, she was:
“…falsely accused of leaving the kitchen and refrigerator in disarray following the Palm Springs event.”
The chef further alleges that she later experienced significant hemorrhaging, severe depression, and emotional distress. The complaint also claims that one supervisor reprimanded her, saying:
“Stop it, just stop it. You are upsetting Kylie. You are making her depressed.”
In addition to seeking unspecified damages, the lawsuit alleges pregnancy discrimination, harassment, failure to provide reasonable accommodations, wrongful termination, unpaid wages, and that she was improperly classified as an independent contractor.

BTW, this is now the third lawsuit Jenner has faced from former employees in 2026. Earlier this year, former housekeeper Angelica Vasquez sued the Kylie Cosmetics founder, alleging discrimination based on her religion and national origin by other staff members.
And then weeks after that, another former housekeeper filed a separate lawsuit making similar allegations about mistreatment in the workplace. That housekeeper also claimed that after attempting to seek Jenner’s help directly, she was allegedly threatened with termination and told by other staff members never to contact Jenner again.
Whew. It’s a lot.
