Lacroix Gets A Non-Fashion Job

On top of designing uniforms for railway operator SNCF, Christian Lacroix will also be designing coins.
Yes, really.
The former couturier has been named artistic adviser of La Monnaie de Paris, the peeps behind making France’s Euros and medals.
Under his new role Lacroix will be in charge of designing limited edition coins, the French gay marriage medal and the medal given out to those married under French civil law.
Whatever pays the bills, right Christian?
