Lady GaGa is finally shedding some light on her split earlier this year from Christian Carino.
While performing her Jazz & Piano show in Las Vegas on Sunday night, the A Star Is Born actress briefly broke her silence on the breakup with her former fiancé.

An attendee confirmed to E! News that the Oscar winner was just about to sing Someone to Watch Over Me when she shared with the intimate Sin City audience:
“Last time I sang this song, I had a ring on my finger, so it’ll be different this time.”
The 33-year-old began dating the talent agent in February 2017, and they were later engaged this past October, before the engagement was called off in February 2019.
Unfortunately, it seems that she was caught in a very Bad Romance long after things fell apart. As we reported, a source recently spilled to Us Weekly that the Grammy Award winner was being “hounded” by her ex long after the breakup:
“She’s been hounded by Christian. She told him not to contact her.”
Yikes!
Maybe that’s why she’s kept so private about the situation until now?
But we have heard bits and pieces…
In March, an insider spoke out about the crooner’s public split which went down during the 2019 awards season:
“Chris didn’t treat GaGa very well toward the end of their [two-year] relationship.”
As if that wasn’t bad enough, another confidant divulged a bit more, revealing it was GaGa who ultimately had to call things off:
“GaGa was the one who broke things off. He was jealous. He was trying to find her all the time and texted her a lot. Her friends didn’t like him either.”
Before her relationship with Christian, GaGa was engaged to Chicago Fire star Taylor Kinney from February 2015 to July 2016 after being together for five years. Unlike her most recent breakup, the two appeared to end their romance amicably.

After accidentally “liking” a shady comment on his Instagram about his songstress ex, he apologized, expressing how “proud” he was of her A Star Is Born accolades:
“Sorry for the “like”. It was an accident. I’m only proud and happy for Stef.”
Now that’s how you do a breakup, folks!! Chris, take notes!
Breakups are certainly never easy, but being a jerk after the fact doesn’t usually win you any brownie points, especially not with a major fanbase!
We hope GaGa is doing well in light of everything, though from what she said on stage — she may still be processing it…
