What century are we in again?? Shouldn’t this be illegal???
British supermodel Lara Stone revealed in a recent interview that when she became pregnant with her first baby boy, she immediately started losing jobs!
In 2012, right when the 30-year-old model found out her happy news, she let her next modeling gig know right away.
However, when Lara got there, they hired someone else without telling her! She said:
“I was really upset at the time. I hadn’t yet had my three-month scan and I felt really vulnerable about everything. I no longer had a job. That was it — I had to just stop everything that I knew; the way my life was.”
That├óΓé¼Γäós awful!!! At least SOME people still hired Lara though, because she’s amazeballz!
And following that awful experience, Miz Stone had a tough time getting her pre-baby body back, which worried her! She said:
“Once the baby was out, I was like, ‘What the hell is going on? My arms don’t fit into my sweaters.’ I couldn’t get my jeans over my knees. I couldn’t find a bra that fitted me. I had body dysmorphia but the wrong way round.”
But the good news is that everything is all good with the couple and their new baby, and Lara is back in business again!
We’re still so sad that she even had to go through all of that at all though!
