Bullet dodged, right bro? You almost actually had to be punished for the awful things you allegedly did to your ex-girlfriend! So lucky!!
If you couldn’t tell, we’re being completely sarcastic. We think it’s AWFUL that Larry Johnson, former NFL running back, is getting a slap on the wrist and NO jail time for allegedly choking out his ex-girlfriend. He struck a plea deal, and it’s blowing our minds how often people get away with such awful things!
His ex-girlfriend claimed he grabbed her by the neck and strangled her to the point of losing consciousness during a 2012 spat at the Bellagio hotel. Vegas prosecutors thought it was a great idea to offer a deal instead, though, where he pleads no contest to misdemeanor domestic battery and assault, with 1 year probation, two days of community service, half a year of counseling, and a measly $345 fine!
In other words, he’s free to do it again — because WHY NOT when you don’t get into very much trouble for it??
Boooooo!
