Lassie Owner Files A Million Dollar Lawsuit Against Commercial

J.G. Wentworth made a commercial containing a dog that is waaaaaaay too familiar for Classic Media‘s taste!
If you didn’t know, and you probably didn’t, they own the rights to Lassie — and they’re upset about the ad.
It features a Lassie-era mother and son discussing financial problems, and then the son turns to his dog — and even says “get help, girl!” — to find help, and then shows the dog in a traveling montage just like the show.
Also, it features a dog that looks EXACTLY like Lassie.
