Lauryn Hill is the master of evasion!
Having just been released from the slammer for tax evasion, Lauryn recently began three months of home detention, but now she wants to evade some of her sentence to go on tour!
Too bad justice is justice, right? What’s that? A judge actually agreed to let her go? Oh, well, good news for Lauryn AND her fans, we guess!
Lauryn will be given a pass to go to a set of performances from November 15th through December 31st, on the condition that all the details are run past her probation officer aka her future number one groupie!
By November 15th, Lauryn might be a little homesick, meaning she’ll be literally nauseous at the sight of her own house, so this might actually be a nice break for her.
That, or they might have to pry away from her Wii to get her onstage.
However, come New Year’s Day, Lauryn will have to continue the rest of her tough sentence of living in her home.
No word yet if she’ll have to perform her concerts with an ankle monitor!
Just remember, Lauryn, that anything you make on this tour has to be filed in your taxes!
