Dick Wolf has announced that Law & Order is dead and gone.
“I can confirm that it has moved into the history books. We exhausted every effort.”
Here’s more from Wolf on the subject:
“There are so many factors that entered into the network’s decision. Everything in life is a negotiation. In 25 years on air at NBC, we never failed to make a deal when there was a deal to be made.”
At least we can find solace in the fact that Law and Order: Los Angeles is well on its way. The show will star big-screen talent Alfred Molina and Terrence Howard.
Doctor Octopus from Spider Man 2 and pre-Don Cheadle replacement Col. Rhodes from Iron Man? Certainly intriguing news.
Good Night, Sweet Law and Order; and flights of NBC execs sing thee to thy rest.
