Monday marks the second anniversary of Cory Monteith‘s tragic death.
Although the Glee star succumbed to a drug and alcohol overdose, his memory still lives on in those closest to him.

Including his former flame Lea Michele.
That same day, the 28-year-old actress took to Twitter to remember her former co-star and boyfriend.
She wrote:
Today we remember the laughter and joy you brought into our lives every day. We think of you always and love you so❤️ pic.twitter.com/Mr98lUetpb

Awww! We are so INCREDIBLY touched!
However, this isn’t the first time Miz Michele has paid tribute to Monteith.
As we reported earlier this year, the Bronx native posted an emotional message celebrating what would’ve been his 33rd birthday.
The performer spent the past weekend at Comic-Con promoting her new TV show Scream Queens.
We echo Lea’s words and we hope Cory will forever rest in peace.
