Some people should just NOT be allowed to use Twitter!
Lena Dunham is known to send out some silly tweets from time to time, but when she cracked a joke on Memorial Day some of her followers let her know they were NOT happy about it!
The Girls actress and director received TONS of nasty messages, but one particularly awful tweet DEFINITELY crossed the line, reading:
“I hope you and your worthless retarded father get cancer and join your stupid [dead] mom. Rot in hell, you whore.”
Wow! We don’t even have words to describe how disgustingly offensive that is!
Lena responded to the tweet, writing:
Just an FYI to conservative dudes tweeting hate at me: “I hope you get breast cancer” is way more offensive than anything I’ve ever written.

Whether your a fan of hers or not, there’s a HUGE difference between making a stupid joke on Twitter and actually wishing death upon somebody!
