Everyone freaked out over the weekend when Liam Payne made his profile picture on Instagram a snuggled-up pic with his reported love Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, 32.
Cue a massive One Directioners‘ meltdown.
Apparently, when the news broke of the 22-year-old’s relationship, mean trolls flooded the newly-divorced beauty’s mentions with ALL the shade and hate — saying things like:

“F*ck off Cheryl. You can have any man in the world. Step the f*ck away from my Liam or we going to have problems.”
“REPULSIVE WH*RE. FROM ONE BED STRAIGHT TO THE NEXT.”
“When your were 15 he was olny 5 PLSS! ├░┼╕╦£┬╣├░┼╕╦£┬╣ Back off grandmother ├░┼╕ΓÇÿ┬╡├░┼╕┬Å┬╗├░┼╕ΓÇÿ┬╡├░┼╕┬Å┬╗├░┼╕ΓÇÿ┬╡├░┼╕┬Å┬╗”

Seemingly in response, the X Factor judge briefly changed her Insta bio to read:

“When people hate on you, it’s because you’ve got something they want.”

Ha! Fair!
However, she quickly edited the description to say:

While Liam’s bio simply says:

“Happy”
