Liam Payne‘s ex-girlfriend Aliana Mawla is paying tribute.
On her Instagram Story on Thursday, the 26-year-old model mourned the loss of her ex-boyfriend, who passed on Wednesday after jumping from a hotel balcony, though it is not clear if it was intentional. She expressed:
“I’m sorry this happened to you .. Will forever love and miss you.”
The heartfelt words were shared alongside a picture of the One Direction alum watching a concert.

She also posted a second photo of them holding hands, captioning it, “Rest in paradise.” Aw.
Very sweet.
Liam and Aliana got together in 2022 — right after his romance with ex-fiancée Maya Henry, who accused the Teardrops singer of cheating. At the time, Aliana denied the allegations. It’s unclear when Liam and Aliana split, but it definitely wasn’t a very long romance considering that he got together with his current girlfriend Kate Cassidy later that same year.
This has got to be such a tough loss for Aliana — and for all who knew Liam so personally. Sending them love.
