Liam Payne‘s shocking death at just 31 hit everyone hard. But few harder than the woman who lived with him.
Liam’s girlfriend Kate Cassidy — who was with him in Argentina just days before his tragic fall — has now broken her silence on the heartbreaking loss.

Taking to her Instagram Story, she wrote:
“Thank you for all of the kind words and love that has been sent my way. I have been at a complete loss. Nothing about the past few days have felt real. I ask and pray that you’ll give me the grace and space to navigate this in private. Liam, my angel. You are everything. I want you to know I loved you unconditionally and completely. I will continue to love you for the rest of my life. I love you Liam.”
“Unconditionally and completely.” No one can ask for more than that. Wow.
As we said, Kate had been with Liam in Buenos Aires. The two posted a lot of sweet moments on Snapchat, some of which even confused fans as they were scheduled just minutes before news of his death hit.
However, on October 12, she felt she needed “to go home” — after all, they were only supposed to be there five days to see Niall Horan‘s concert on October 2. They ended up staying so much longer because of Liam. But she was getting “anxiety” and just wanted to head back. Sadly it seems Liam never stopped the party…
But it’s lovely to know Kate would have been waiting for him with open arms… no matter what.
