Liam Payne Gushed In Rare Post About 'Mini-Me' Son Bear Just Months Before Singer's Tragic Death

Liam Payne Beamed About ‘Mini-Me’ Son Bear Just Months Before His Untimely Death

Liam Payne loved his son dearly — and even gushed about him to fans just months before his passing.

On Thursday, the One Direction alum’s family released multiple statements revealing that they are “utterly devastated” and completely “heartbroken” following his shocking death. But imagine how unfathomable it all is for his poor young son Bear

Liam welcomed the child with ex Cheryl Cole back in 2017, so the little guy is now only 7 years old and having to deal with the tragedy of his father’s death. So unimaginable. Especially because just months ago, Liam was lovingly bragging about Bear and how “big” he’s getting…

In a Snapchat video from August when the Strip That Down singer celebrated his 31st birthday, Liam playfully told fans:

“I didn’t get any dad socks yet. But I am going to speak to my son in a little bit, which I’m really excited about. Bless him.”

Ugh. Our hearts just continue to break more and more…

He continued in the Snap posted at the time:

“He’s a big boy, and he looks like a mini-me, as if we need anymore me in the world.”

Awww.

Adorable yet haunting words knowing Liam passed just two months after saying that…

The pop star kept his son largely out of the spotlight, but he did share a post on Instagram with the little guy back in March of this year. In the photo, Bear faces a billboard of his poppa that was promoting Liam’s song Teardrops. Seemingly quoting the little guy, Liam captioned the post:

“I want to be on a billboard one day daddy”

We’re sending all our love and support to Bear and the rest of Liam’s loved ones. Such a sad, heartbreaking situation…
