Liam Payne's PRICY Missing Rolex Watch Reportedly For Sale On Black Market -- Who's The Mystery Seller?!

Liam Payne's Expensive Rolex Watch Being Shopped On Black Market By Mystery Seller Allegedly Lying About His Will: REPORT

Liam Payne’s missing Rolex has reportedly turned up… On the black market!

After the late One Direction star’s death at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina in October, local newspaper La Nación reported the watch he was wearing the day of his death was missing. Police were never able to find the watch, which was reportedly worth tens of thousands of dollars, so many believed it had been stolen at some point before his tragic death. But now seven months later, RadarOnline reports it’s been listed for sale on the black market.

According to the outlet, a watch collector recently reached out, revealing a “reputable Rolex trader” had offered him “one of Liam’s watches” which is believed to be valued at up to $60k. The source claimed the seller is an individual who was close to the Strip That Down singer, and that it comes with an authenticity card with his name on it and a serial number. Huh.

This raises concerns for a number of reasons… One, of course, is cops were actively looking for his Rolex after his death, and it never got properly taken in as evidence. Two? Liam’s baby momma Cheryl Cole was granted power of administration over his estate as he died without a will… Meaning Cheryl is now responsible for the administration of any and all earthly belongings left by Liam, including the watch. And this guy did NOT get a message from the singer of Promise This. The source explained:

“Given the absence of a will, any assets should legally pass to his son Bear, with Cheryl Cole acting as guardian. The situation raises serious legal and emotional concerns, especially considering the sentimental and financial value of the possessions being offloaded.”

What’s even more problematic is that according to the source, the watch seller “claims to have received it in a will.” Which obviously is impossible given we know Liam didn’t leave a will!

The identity of the alleged seller remains anonymous, but the outlet makes clear it is absolutely not Cheryl. A second source told the site:

“If the sale of the Rolex can be pinned down on this person, and Cheryl is not involved, it will ignite a massive legal war.”

The outlet noted that it’s not verified the watch being sold even is the one Liam was wearing on the day of his death, but it would certainly make the most sense since it was never found…

On the seller claiming to have received the watch in Liam’s will, the source claimed:

“That cannot be the case as there was no will. They have no jurisdiction at the time they took possession of his property and (have) begun selling items. What’s happening is not only legally questionable — it’s deeply unethical. These items should either be passed down to Bear, or at the very least sold through a public charity auction, not behind closed doors for personal gain.”

Crazy…

It’s worth mentioning nothing has been verified, not even the existence of this watch. In other words, this might be someone trying to sell a fake Rolex with fraudulent papers — or a scammer with no watch to sell at all. For now we must absolutely take this report with a grain of salt.
