Lili Reinhart Says She Was Visited By Luke Perry's 'Spirit'!

Lili Reinhard says Luke Perry's spirit visited her in a dream

The spirit of Luke Perry might have paid one of his co-stars a visit on Tuesday night.

Riverdale star Lili Reinhart took to Twitter on Wednesday to recall a dream she had about the late actor the previous night, explaining how she felt it was a good thing — because it meant his spirit was sending her a positive message from beyond.

She wrote:

“I had a dream last night that I saw Luke… and I hugged him so hard and cried into his shoulder, telling him how much we all miss him. Looking back on it this morning, I think his spirit was visiting me in my sleep, letting me know he’s smiling brightly on the other side.”

Awwww. What a heartwarming interpretation!

As fans know, Perry died in March 2019 at the age of 52 after suffering a stroke. Many Riverdale stars paid tribute to the TV legend on social media after the news broke — including Reinhart, who wrote:

“I’m finding it hard to grasp that he will no longer be around to give long hugs and share his wisdom and kindness with all of us. I’m thinking of his family. His children. I pray for them to heal and find peace in this devastating loss.”

The CW series honored the late actor with a touching tribute episode in season four, which centered around the death of Perry’s character Fred Andrews, and featured a haunting cameo from the actor’s Beverly Hills, 90210 co-star, Shannen Doherty.

The short-lived 90210 reboot BH90210 honored Perry as well in its premiere episode. While Perry’s death wasn’t directly mentioned, it was subtly acknowledged when the entire group — Gabrielle Carteris, Jason Priestley, Brian Austin Green, Jennie Garth, Tori Spelling, and Ian Ziering — met up in Las Vegas. Gabrielle remarked at how she couldn’t believe they were all there, to which Jason replied before a moment of silence:

“I wish that were true.”

At the end of the episode, Tori Spelling’s kids watched Beverly Hills, 90210 as Tori gets inspired to try to reboot the show, and the frame froze on Dylan McKay’s (Perry’s character) face alongside a dedication to the late actor.

Sadly, one television event didn’t pay tribute to Perry’s legacy. As we reported, the 2020 Oscars left the actor out of its in memoriam segment, much to the dismay of fans. But we’d like to think Perry’s spirit is still at peace despite getting snubbed.
