And suddenly it all makes sense!
As we’ve reported, Lindsay Lohan proved once and for all yesterday that she is literally incapable of keeping her life together by FAILING a urine test during her house arrest, and that is most likely the cause of why she suddenly canceled her interviews with Matt Lauer for The Today Show and Deadline so abruptly!
The hard-pAArtying actress’ publicist, Steve Honig, was quoted making up this excuse:
“We thought this was going to be a quick, brief check-in with the Today show. You know, how’s she doing, what she’s been up to. She likes to cook, so I thought she might cook something up for them. But Lindsay wasn’t prepared to do a lengthy, two-hour in-depth interview. There was no drama, no door slamming. It was a case of miscommunication. Once they started setting up with Matt, I found out about what they wanted to do. So I pulled Lindsay aside and she said, ├óΓé¼╦£What do you think I should do?’ I told her I didn’t think it was a good idea, and I ultimately told Matt Lauer we weren’t doing it, not Lindsay. She felt very badly about it. But Matt was a perfect gentleman. I find it disconcerting that these people were in her home and someone decided to take advantage of the situation. I wish whoever made a quick 50 bucks off leaking the story to TMZ would have called me first because I would have offered them 75, and this never would have been an issue.”
Hmm!
So SELF-RIGHTEOUS, when it seems to us that the only practical reason she would cancel is because she KNEW she was screwed, and it would be pretty embarrassing to do two interviews talking about how you’ve turned your life around when you’re due in court the next day for doing the exact opposite of that!
But hey, A for effort making up that nice little story, Steve!
You deserve a bonus for having to handle her bull shiz! Or at least a nice pat on the back!
