Lindsay Lohan just can’t catch a break.
This morning, the Riverside County District Attorney sent authorities to the home of Dawn Holland to question her about Lindsay. You’ll recall that Dawn is the former Betty Ford worker who claimed she was attacked by LiLo, went to the presses with her story, then decided not to press any charges against the star.
Well, the D.A. isn’t interested in being that forgiving, so he had his people show up, without warning, to the woman’s home to grill her more about the incident. This is after, mind you, her lawyer explicitly told them she has nothing to add to her original statement and wanted no further part in the investigation. Since they completely disregarded Miz Holland’s request, her lawyer fired off a second letter to the D.A., requesting AGAIN that his client be left alone.
In the letter, he writes that Dawn “does not desire prosecution of Ms. Lohan and that any communication with Ms. Holland is to go through my office.” He added that this mornings ambush at her home was “a blatant attempt to stomp on the 6th Amendment [right to counsel].”
Call us crazy, but we don’t think they care. Sounds like the D.A. has a vendetta against Lindsay and he isn’t going to stop until he blows up the Parliament nails her for her crimes.
