Well, we’re sure her The Canyons director Paul Schrader hasn’t been missing her!
But plenty of people are still wondering why Lindsay Lohan didn’t show up to the Venice Film Festival to promote her flick.
And it seems it might be because Queen Oprah Winfrey actually did get through to her!
LiLo took to her site this weekend to explain her absence after rumors ran wild that she ditched:
“Along with the positive messages and words of support of “The Canyons” at VFF, I am sending my own to the cast, producers and the amazing Paul Schrader. I am so grateful for the extraordinary experience of being a part of this film. Unfortunately, I have to clear up these reports. I was never confirmed to attend. Of course, I would have enjoyed returning to that wonderful city and being a part of this amazing event, but my focus is on my health and well-being. Plain and simple, it is of the utmost importance.”
This explanation is one we most certainly accept!
And we’re pretty damn surprised LiLo actually bailed on the bash. She might really be a changed woman this time!
Next you know she might actually kick those cancer sticks!
