After the critical and public response she’s received for her ‘performance’ so far, she might want to re-think this one!
Lindsay Lohan‘s interpretation of Elizabeth Taylor for the Lifetime movie Liz & Dick has resulted in some pretty harsh reviews – and Twitter comments – since it premiered last night, but according to the troubled starlet, she was MORE than prepared for the role of such a beloved icon…because of the life experience she’s accrued from five trips to rehab and six drug and theft-related arrests!
She maintains:
“Everything I’ve gone through made me ready to play Liz.”
And how she thinks the dearly-departed Taylor would have advised her to clean up her image?
“She probably would have said, ‘Figure it the hell out.’ You have to learn it for yourself sometimes.”
We sincerely hope that you can do that, gurl!
Hopefully, this performance can be a learning experience that will only inspire you to work harder and refine your acting skillz, so you can get back to the the high bar you set for yourself back during the I Know Who Killed Me Mean Girls days!
