Soccer Superstar Lionel Messi Weds Childhood Sweetheart In Private Argentina Ceremony

Congratulations to Lionel Messi and his longtime girlfriend Antonella Roccuzzo!!
The pair wed on Saturday in a lavish, extremely private ceremony in Rosario, Argentina — their hometown, and the place where they had grown up together since first meeting as five-year-old children!

Photos were banned during the ceremony, but we can confirm that quite a few celebs and soccer stars were there in attendance, including Messi’s soccer teammates from past and present, like: Carles Puyol, Javier Mascherano, Cesc Fabregas, Sergio Aguero, Neymar and Luis Suarez.
In addition, Gerard Pique was there with pop star wife Shakira, too!
It’s being termed the “wedding of the century” in some circles, and while we’re sad we can’t see any pics from it (they did a great job on keeping things VERY private!) we are extremely happy for the childhood sweethearts that are now hitched!
