TBT! Celebrate The ‘Lizzie McGuire’ Revival By Reliving Our EXCLUSIVE Interview With Clayton Snyder (AKA Ethan Craft)!

Hilary Duff Clayton Ethan Craft chat Lizzie revival.

Time for a trip down memory lane!

As we reported, Hilary Duff announced over the weekend she’d be reprising the titular role of Lizze McGuire in a new series for Disney+, and we’ve been freaking out about it cartoon Lizzie-style.

For those who missed it, the 31-year-old actress shared the news at the D23 Expo in Anaheim, California, where she explained the premise of the new series to a very enthusiastic audience.

According to Duff, 2019 Lizzie is “older,” “wiser,” and has “a much bigger shoe budget” — which, of course, “is super exciting.” Not only does Lizzie have her “dream job” working for a big time NYC decorator, she also has her “dream apartment” and “dream boyfriend”!

Overall, it sounds like Lizzie really has a handle on this adulting thing. But despite her successes, she apparently still can’t escape from that babbling 13-year-old cartoon Lizzie in her adult head! (Maybe it’s time to see a professional, girl?)

Since the news has effectively put our nostalgia sensors into overdrive, we thought it would be a perfect time to rewatch the EXCLUSIVE interview we had with Lizzie McGuire alum Clayton Snyder — who, for those who forgot, played OG TV Hair God Ethan Craft.

In this *vintage* 2015 chat, Clayton dispenses sage wisdom on how one can live life like a true Ethan-Craftian f**kboy. This intensive includes topics such as: how to be a bro, how to have the perfect hair, and how to speak to the ladies.

Take a gander (below), and keep an eye out for more updates on the Lizzie McGuire revival!

Thanks for the hot tips, bro!

There hasn’t been much revealed about the project as of now, so it’s unclear if Clayton will be making a cameo in the upcoming series.

Basically, all we know so far is adult Lizzie is THRIVING and Hil is so very here for it. The mother-of-two also took to her Instagram Story to share more about the exciting announcement, telling fans:

“Hey guys I am here at the Grand Californian in Anaheim at Disneyland and I’m here to head over to D23, after hair and makeup, to announce the Lizzie McGuire reboot for Disney+, and I am beyond excited.

Honestly I’ve thought about what I would say for quite a few days now, and I don’t really have words. It’s crazy. I’ve really missed her.

I think now is a great time for her to come back, in her 30s and you know she’s everybody’s best friend and I can’t wait to go on this next chapter with her and I hope everyone is as excited as I am.

I never ever get nervous, but I’m actually a little bit nervous right now!”

Sounds like girl could’ve used some of Clayton’s tips. Next time!
