Is Hayden Panettiere‘s daddy screwed?

He’s getting the book thrown at him – and rightfully so!

Prosecutors charged the Heroes star’s poppa, Alan, with misdemeanor battery on Thursday for allegedly beating down his wife and H’s mommy, Leslie.

Daddy Panettiere’s arraignment is scheduled for October. He faces up to a year in a Los Angeles County jail if convicted.

We wonder how far the case will get very far, though.

Immediately after the domestic violence incident, the Panettiere’s appeared on the show Extra and said that it was all one big ‘misunderstanding’.

Has Leslie changed her tune? Did she find the strength to face down the douchebag abuser?
