On Thursday, former federal prosecutor Sloan Ellis told TMZ:
“Hayden’s death remains under investigation and it is important to allow that investigation to proceed. As has been publicly reported, police confirmed there were no signs of foul play. Out of respect for Hayden’s loved ones and the ongoing investigation, there will be no further comment at this time.”
The outlet has also reported that Brian’s brother Zach was the one who discovered Hayden unresponsive. Brian was sleeping in another room. When first responders arrived at the South Carolina residence after the Greenville Police Department received a 911 call, they made multiple efforts to revive the mother before pronouncing her dead.

An autopsy completed by the Greenville County Coroner’s Office has concluded “no signs of trauma were discovered” that could have contributed to the death of the Nashville star.
Hayden was an extraordinarily bright light in the world. Through her life she raised awareness for many causes, notably both animal rights and postpartum depression. Her legacy will live on through the positive impact she left on society, her brilliant performances on screen, the love and compassion she showed others, and of course, through her daughter.
May she rest in peace.
