Why? Because they dare have careers and lives outside the Twi-universe!
Last night was the U.K. premiere for the already wildly successful Twilight Saga: Eclipse. Fans camped out for two days waiting to see their favorite vamps and werewolves stroll down the red carpet, but they never came.
Oh sure, Ashley Greene was there. And Nikki Reed. And Kellan Lutz! But the Holy Trinity Of Twilight? No shows!
Now, we know that R-Patz was filming Water for Elephants yesterday, KStew’s gearing up for her next movie and Tay Tay was taking out the garbage for his mom, but that knowledge didn’t stop U.K. fans from raging on when they learned their idols weren’t coming.
Fans on the carpet screamed and protested, saying they were “gutted” and “absolutely devastated” that the trio didn’t come. Most of the anger was directed towards R-Patz, as one fan pointed out, he’s “British!”
Can’t please everyone, we guess! You all will just have to settle for watching the movie about 100 or so times to make those feelings of abandonment go away.
