Lorde Accuses Kanye West & Kid Cudi Of Stealing Her Stage Design!
Imitation isn’t always the sincerest form of flattery!
On Sunday, Kanye West and Kid Cudi — AKA Kids See Ghosts — had their debut show at Tyler, the Creator‘s Camp Flog Gnaw festival where they performed in a floating glass box.
The only problem? Lorde claims she did that stage design first!
On Monday on Instagram Story, the Green Light singer shared photos — one in March 2018, and another at Coachella 2017 — of her performing in a similar environment.
As seen on Twitter:
Lorde calls out Kanye West for stealing her box stage idea: A few hours ago, controversy arose when Kanye West and Kid Cudi performed on a floating stage, a replica of Lorde’s – a female artist’s – North American Tour staple.

The songstress added the caption:
“I’m proud of the work I do and it’s flattering when other artists feel inspired by it, to the extent that they choose to try it on themselves. But don’t steal — not from women or anyone else — not in 2018 or ever.”
It’s important to note that Kanye used a floating platform stage during his 2016 Saint Pablo Tour.
Coincidence… or culprit??
