After much courting, super close sources say Saturday Night Live god Lorne Michaels has declined the offer to produce the 85th annual Academy Awards ceremony!
This comes on the heels of the rumor that Lorne was interested if Jimmy Fallon was placed as host.
But Jimbo wasn’t too keen on the idea, saying:
“It’s an honor to be asked by the Academy, but it’s not my year.”
Sigh… well whoever will they get now!??
Maybe… Perez?? 😉
Okay… okay… well who would U wanna see up there making corny jokes??
We were DYING for The Muppets last year, but whoever takes the challenge for the Oscars of 2013 better be golden! It’s the 85th anniversary!!
