Louis Tomlinson Remembering Liam Payne In The Sweetest Way Might Break You

How do you even begin to respond to the death of a friend… a brother…?

One Direction posted a beautiful statement after the passing of Liam Payne. But it wasn’t just lip service. Louis Tomlinson proved he’s really thinking about his bandmate.

Taking to his Instagram Stories on Friday, he shared a screen grab of his Apple Music playlist… and he was listening to Liam’s latest track, the heartfelt Teardrops. See his photo (below):

Teardrops was the last record released by Liam before his passing. (We’ve heard he was dropped by his record label, and the second LP was shelved.) It’s also a really beautiful song, with lyrics that hit so much harder now. Liam sings:

Teardrops are falling / Down your face again, ’cause I

Don’t know how to love you when / I am broken too

Knowing Louis is listening to his friend sing those words… Our hearts are going to break all over again.
