Louis Vuitton Apologizes For Controversial 'Prostitution Chic' Video

Louis Vuitton is a fashion institution! They don’t need to resort to this kind of scandalous promotion.
A new promotional video for their Fall/Winter 2013 collection has sparked controversy over its overly sexual undertones that critics say is glamorizing prostitution.
Produced by Love magazine, the vid shows models, including Georgia May Jagger and Cara Delevingne in scantily-clad négligées working the streets of Paris.
Women’s groups are on the attack though, arguing:

“It’s a disturbing video because it combines two different worlds -├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ the refinement of haute couture and the violence of the sex trade.”

Vuitton has since distanced themselves from the video, but Love‘s Katie Grand has apologized, saying:

“We are very sorry for any offence caused. It was certainly not our intention.”

Does the video really go too far with the “prostitution chic” look? Watch the (above) clip for URself!
