Lauren and Cameron Hamilton are having a baby!
The beloved OG Love Is Blind couple posted a video to Instagram on Monday poking fun at the comments they’ve received since fans watched their wedding during Season 1 asking when they would have a child. Well, it’s happening now! After four years of struggling with infertility and undergoing in-vitro fertilization (IVF), they announced the happy news at the end of the clip that they are expecting their first child together! Amazing! Speaking to People, Lauren noted that “it’s been a long time coming” for them as they’ve “been trying to get pregnant for four years.” Now that she and Cameron finally got a positive pregnancy test, the feeling is “indescribable” to her. There were tears after “seeing the word pregnant.” The moment was also “bittersweet” since Lauren lost her dad last Christmas:
“I lost my father [at] Christmas of last year. And so we took this test the end of January, beginning of February, so this was literally light in the darkness. This was like, wow. The spark that my whole family needed. We’ve been trying for a long time. It was a little bittersweet because my dad’s not here physically to be with us, but we know that he’s watching over us. So it was just like, ‘Wow, I can’t believe this.’ We just felt so blessed, so grateful and happy, excited. Then it hit like, ‘We’re going to be parents. Oh my God.'”
Congratulations to Lauren and Cameron! We are so happy for them!
