Lukas Gage has some thoughts about the new interest in his love life!
For those who haven’t been keeping up, the White Lotus star sparked romance rumors last month with 39-year-old celebrity hairstylist Chris Appleton. It all started when the pair posted pictures from their joint vacation to Punta de Mita, Mexico. In the snapshots, they could be seen posing together while on a four-wheeler. Lukas even captioned his sweet post “la mejor,” which means “the best” in Spanish! Possibly talking about how his rumored beau is the best?! Aww! Chris also got flirty in the comments section, writing “stud” along with the heart-eye emoji. Kim Kardashian’s hairstylist even posted the same pics from their getaway, including a shirtless selfie of them in the ocean. Swipe to see it (below):
When the posts dropped, many people took these photos as a hard launch for their relationship, and they went IG official. But when asked about the romance rumors in a new interview published on Thursday, the 27-year-old actor did not confirm or deny they were a couple! Lukas simply told The New York Times:
“If they want to think that, they can. I’m a pretty open book about most things in my life, but I have a problem with the culture of everyone needing to know everybody’s business and nothing can be sacred. It’s a weird line that I’m still trying to figure out.”
Understandable! While Lukas is trying to keep their relationship status on the down low, Chris couldn’t help but praise the You star’s new interview. Per E! News, he reposted a picture of Lukas from the NYT article and wrote on Instagram Stories:
“Hot & Talented @lukasgage.”
In fact, the two have been spotted out and about together multiple times since they’ve come back from their Mexico vacay! They even seemingly made their red carpet debut on Wednesday at Vanity Fair and TikToke’s Vanities: A Night for Young Hollywood bash at Mes Amis in Los Angeles. Check it out (below):
