Pink and purple? Together? That’s bold and we love it!
Of course Lupita Nyong’o has never shied away from taking fashion risks, so for her to pair a deep purple cut-out dress and matching pumps with a pale pink coat just makes sense!

It helps that you can totally see the confidence with which she wears it, too.
The actress wore the ensemble during an appearance on The Today Show in NYC Wednesday morning.
Weighing in on the Oscars controversy once more, she said:
“What I think it is, is that it’s a symptom of something else. I think what we are asking for is really for more stories to be told, for inclusion in the stories that are told. And I think that it’s good for all of us when we hear a diverse number of stories and are able to experience more diversity. It’s more reflective of the world we live in. I think that’s what we ultimately want, is for a diversity of stories to be told.”
Well said!
Our movies should be more reflective of the world and the people in it.
And it’s so great to see Lupita continue to talk about this issue. Nothing will change if we don’t demand it!
