2010 is proving to be a great year for luxury sales.
Like Selfridges, UK department store Harrods says their figures are up way up compared to last year.
Managing director Michael Ward boasts:
“This year has been the year of the French fashion brands. Chanel is doing phenomenally well. And then Louis Vuitton, Dior, Lanvin – all the big, beautiful brands.”
Thanks to these posh brands, Harrods annual sales have grown to over $1.5 billion, which is $230 million more than 2009.
