Madge isn’t gonna let this one go down without a fight!
After a Malawi court ruled against the material girl adopting 4-year-old Mercy James on Friday morning, Madonna has put the wheels in motion for an appeal of the ruling!
“I just filed the notice of appeal this afternoon on instructions from my client,” said Madonna’s lawyer Alan Chinula.
The judge believed in Madge’s ability to be a loving mother but refused to break the rules for the pop diva!
“It is necessary that we look beyond the petitioner … and consider the consequences of opening the doors too wide,” the judge explained on Friday. “By removing the very safeguard that is supposed to protect our children, the courts … could actually facilitate trafficking of children by some unscrupulous individuals.”
How will Her Madgesty’s legal team get around the problem of the “residency requirement” of Malawi adoptions???
Will Madonna be able to sweet talk her way out of the requirements???
