It’s like 2008 all over again!
Gucci‘s creative director Frida Giannini and Madonna are totes going to be BFFs at the Venice International Film Festival this week.
To start thing off the Queen of Pop will screen her long awaited film W.E. on Thursday, which will be followed by a private dinner hosted by Giannini in Her Madgesty’s honor.
But the fun doesn’t stop there!
The next night, Madonna will be on hand to present the first ever Gucci Award for Women in Cinema, a new annual award that recognizes an outstanding artistic achievement by a woman in filmmaking.
Gucci will donate $25,000 to the Maurice Kanbar Institute of Film and Television at NYU Tisch School of the Arts in the winner’s name.
