One Baby, Three Parents! Scientists Now Say It Looks Safe To Make Embryos From 3 Types Of DNA!

What an AH-Mazing medical breakthrough!
Britain’s fertility regulator ruled today that the controversial techniques to create embryos from 3 different DNAs doesn’t appear to be unsafe! Do you know what this could mean for gay couples??
While further experiments are still needed, the report just released found that lab tests done on animals show that this is indeed possible!
Dr. Andy Greenfield, who chaired the expert panel behind this report explained though that we can’t celebrate this breakthrough just yet.
He said:

“Until a healthy baby is born, we cannot say 100 percent that these techniques are safe. Safety is not a straightforward issue.├óΓé¼┬¥

This procedure is designed to stop mothers from passing on potentially harmful genes to their children and involve altering a human egg or embryo before transferring it into a woman.
But we can’t help but also think what this method of conception could mean for gay parents! Imagine two dads or two moms being able to pass on their genes to a baby!
If the UK approves the procedure, they would become the first nation to allow human embryos to be genetically modified in this way.
Critics however say this science is highly unethical and warn that too much is still unknown to consider it safe practice.
Others suggest that if this becomes an available option for prospective parents, people could then create designer babies, picking and choosing the traits they’d like their child to have!
