That’s right, Vasalgel is an injection and that just sounds awful. But then again, relying on women to do all the contraceptive work is also awful, because that’s super unfair. It’s about time men had their chance to keep up the no-baby game.
Though, getting jabbed in the d*ck sounds WAY better than a vasectomy, where the vas deferens is actually CUT! Ooo, ouch.
Best part about Vasalgel is that it’s reversible at any time, even years later, with a simple second injection that flushes out the polymer gel. Which is pretty baller if you think about it.
As of right now, the drug is only in clinical trials, but not a single baboon got knocked up during the half year study, so things are looking good!
The goal is to have the shot cost less than a flat-screen TV and hit the market by 2017.
