Mama June Shannon may once again be in dire financial straits, at least if her recent actions are to be believed…
According to reports from Stockbridge, Georgia — where she was alongside boyfriend Geno Doak on Thursday morning — the former reality TV star and Honey Boo Boo‘s estranged mom was seen by witnesses pawning a diamond ring. Worse yet, she apparently took a VERY low-ball offer! Oh, no!

Per TMZ, eyewitnesses on the scene apparently noticed that Mama June was unloading a nice diamond ring which “resembled a wedding or engagement ring.” And although it doesn’t appear as though she gave much of a reason why she wanted to sell off the ring, employees of the Cash America pawn shop in that town weren’t exactly into asking questions about it, either.
Witnesses on scene say Mama June took the first low-ball offer the pawn store workers gave, accepting $1,500 for the ring after a cursory examination of it by the store’s staff. She must’ve had somewhere to be with all that cash all of a sudden on hand, because according to the media outlet, the embattled reality TV star “accepted, took her cash and bolted in a pickup truck.” Well then!

So, there are a couple options here as to what the pawned ring could’ve been. For one, it may be a ring her BF gave her back in March 2019 on her most recent TV series, Mama June: From Not to Hot. Old clips from that show seem to suggest a similar diamond ring as the one that was reportedly pawned in the Stockbridge shop this week.

Another option for the pawned ring could be the one from her ex-husband, Sugar Bear. He gave Mama June a diamond ring when he popped the question waaaaaay back in July 2013 on the fam’s OG series Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. As you’ll recall if you’ve seen that show, Sugar Bear loudly bragged about how he bought the ring for less than $400 with cash he got from selling a turkey fryer — so, if that’s true, then maybe Mama June made off with a nice little profit with the ring this time around, ya know?!

Regardless, it’s impossible to know for sure if the ring was one of those two, or another one entirely. All we do know without question is Mama June’s bizarre Georgia road trip odyssey still hasn’t come to an end, and we honestly don’t even know how to feel about it.
