Mama June Shannon was spotted in small-town Georgia this week, rolling up on an ATM and taking out a ton of cash — which must mean she hasn’t blown through her hard-earned TV money yet, right?
According to media reports, eyewitnesses looked on as the Here Comes Honey Boo Boo star showed up at an ATM machine in McDonough, Georgia earlier this week, and took out a fat wad of cash just a few days before the Thanksgiving holiday. Nice to know she’s still got (some of) it, we suppose?

The reality TV star “didn’t look all too great,” according to those who saw her in person, with “disheveled” being one word used to describe her appearance. TMZ managed to finagle a pic of the TV star (you can see it HERE), and, yeah, we understand the description now. Well then!
The notable part about this is the setup, though; instead of the RV, which she’d allegedly purchased with BF Geno Doak a few months back, she was rolling in a black SUV. And when she got out of the car, she was riding passenger, with Geno allegedly sitting in the back, as well. So it’s interesting, to say the least, how it appears June (a) has someone driving for her, and (b) has enough cash on hand to head to an ATM and do her thing. Hmmm…
No sign of a family reunion…
The saddest part here is that June just doesn’t seem to be on board with getting back together with those who need her most, including her very own daughter Honey Boo Boo. The family has tried to reconcile, as we’ve been reporting throughout the year, but it’s clear that hasn’t happened yet — and there’s no indication anything went down over Thanksgiving, either.
At least this sighting in McDonough is (sort of) a good sign; the small town is about an hour south of Atlanta, and just a few miles away from Hampton — where June has previously lived before hurriedly selling her home earlier this year. So while the former reality TV star is still having problems, reportedly moving from hotel to hotel with Geno in tow, at least she’s still in the area, right?
Doesn’t mean reconciliation will come any time soon, but still… maybe one day there will be a chance…
