Pianist Loses Both Hands, Then Receives Double Hand Transplant... Guess What He Can Do Now!!

man lost hadn playing paino again
Richard Mangino is a Massachusetts man who lost both his arms and legs to an infection back in 2002.
He’s now the world’s first recipient of a successful double hand transplant!
The operation went down three years ago when a team of 40 doctors spent 12 hours giving him a donated pair of hands from a man who died of a brain hemorrhage.
Now that he has the hands, he’s been getting used to them, gaining more mobility and sensation every day.
The best part? He’s a former musician and painter and he’s regaining his skills!
One of his doctors said:

“He’s still making progress in terms of gaining sensation and gaining more function out of the hands. We’ve done a few touch-up operations to give him a little more pinch strength on one side and give him a little more grip strength on the other side.”

Through the touch-up surgeries and Richard’s physical therapy, he’s feeling a lot like his old self!
So, wanna see Richard actually playing the piano again??
Check out the video (below) and watch a man play the piano with a dead man’s hands!
