This is so amazing! Anyone who saves a dog’s life deserves to be showered in gold.
Rickey Young of Houston, Texas heard on the radio that a dog was injured, laying down in the HOV lane of a freeway.
Being a father and dog lover, he couldn’t do nothing so he drove out on the freeway, found the dog and sprung into action.
At first, the dog hobbled away from him, clearly scared and injured.
Oh noes! What if he runs into traffic! How will Rickey save her??
Thanks to his kind heart and a with a little help from a sandwich, Rickey was able to lure the pooch off to the side where he was able to catch her and take the pretty pooch to the Houston SPCA for some life saving surgery, where she was treated for broken bones and internal bleeding.
But, now the dog is fine, thankfully. We love a happy ending! And, what a hero!
Taking action, even just for a moment, can really save a life!
