Hmmm├óΓé¼┬ªthe thing about Beyonc├â┬⌐‘s secret album drop was that it was a secret up until the very moment the album was dropped.
But Mariah Carey is doing her best to take a page out of Bey’s book by releasing a secret album with the title, track listing, artwork and music coming out all at once├óΓé¼┬ª
├óΓé¼┬ªexcept the album isn’t so secret since she’s now told us about it. And we’ve already heard it’s coming out May 6th??
But alas, Mariah is still keeping the project to herself until the big reveal:
“I have to be the one that announces this, especially the title ├óΓé¼┬ª [The title comes from a] personal possession of mine that’s part of an entity that I’ve had almost all my life.”
She admitted the deets to Billboard magazine in which the cover article explains:
“After waiting five years between albums, Mariah Carey finally explains the personal struggle behind her all-at-once digital release, from that Idol debacle (├óΓé¼╦£bamboozled├óΓé¼Γäó) to a need for ├óΓé¼╦£uplifting├óΓé¼Γäó music: ├óΓé¼╦£It├óΓé¼Γäós all been a blur.├óΓé¼Γäó”
We’re not sure if fans will judge her for following Queen Bey’s lead, but hey, new music is new music!
And we’re always excited for new music from Miz Mariah!!
