The man in the iron suit might be about to change!
Robert Downey Jr. already announced that his days as Iron Man are done after the next Avengers flick.
And Hollywood’s leading men are already lining up to take over the superhero part! And right in front is Mark Wahlberg!
Mark said this week that he’d be down for taking over for RDJ if they were to relaunch the franchise! He admitted:
“I would like to take over the Iron Man franchise for Robert Downey [but] it’s one of those things where I kind of like playing real people, [so] I’ve never been asked.”
We prefer when Marky wears next to nothing but if he REALLY wants to put on the power armored suit, we guess we’ll let him!
Aside from how cool it is to play a superhero on the big screen, there’s also the CASH that comes from landing a role like this.
Rob reportedly earned $50 million for Iron Man 3!
